Richard has been in love with
performing live since the
age of five when his father taught him to play the ukulele by ear.
His love of performing began at six with local talent shows. At ten
he began the study of piano. Ever since he has been
playing the piano, writing music, performing live and recording from
Miami to Los Angeles. Richard's unique style frequently makes him a guest
musician and he has sat in with bands at jazz clubs Le Petit Journal and Le Consulat in Paris.
In 1992, Richard recorded and released the album
"Dream Street" which has aired on LA radio
stations KKGO (105 FM) and KFOX (93.5 FM). He recorded
"An Evening with The Richard Sherman Trio"
live at the Armstrong Theater in 2002. |
